The Association of Teachers of Russian in Ireland (ATRI) held an engaging seminar on October 19th in Dublin.
We were pleased to welcome Dr. phil. Svetlana Ahlborn from the Institut für empirische Sprachwissenschaft, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, and Dr. Anna Möhl from the Universität Zürich, Slavisches Seminar. They shared their expertise on “The Benefits of Russian Language Corpora and Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language.”
The seminar took place in an atmosphere of collaboration and curiosity. Through discussions and practical sessions, participants deepened their understanding of how modern linguistic technologies can support language teaching and created new materials for classroom use.It was a successful and productive event, with strong attendance and active participation from teachers across Ireland.
Everyone left inspired and ready to apply new ideas in their work.
